Here at the pizza prof., we take pride in the quality and authenticity of each and every Neapolitan pie we make. If it’s not perfect and made just the way it tastes in Italy, we won’t send it out.  To borrow some words from the medieval Italian philosopher, Saint Anselm (born 1033 AD), we guarantee that the pizza you order will be the greatest conceivable pizza.

AUTHENTIC INGREDIENTS

Our dough is handmade using the best Neapolitan pizza flour there is, made right in Naples: Caputo 00 flour. Our tomato sauce uses regionally certified San Marzano tomatoes. We use whole milk mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil, top quality meats, and locally grown produce.

San Marzano Tomatoes

There are hundreds of different types of pizza sauces throughout the world. Our philosophy is to shoot for simplicity. The only ingredients we use in our sauce are San Marzano tomatoes and sea salt. The result is the most decadent tomato flavor achievable. San Marzano tomatoes are the most delicious whole peeled tomato on the planet. They are regionally certified and are grown in the volcanic soil just south of Mt. Vesuvius, 13 miles East of Naples. The flesh on a San Marzano tomato is thick, with few seeds. Compared with your average tomato, a San Marzano tomato is stronger, sweeter, and less acidic. 

All of our red pies are served with our San Marzano tomato sauce. 

​Our white pies are served with a top quality extra virgin olive oil.
